Serengeti Preservation Foundation Mr. Meshilieck is the Director of the Serengeti Preservation Foundation, a Tanzanian organization building conservation at the community level. The mission of the Serengeti Preservation Foundation is to build local capacity, awareness, and support for conservation in communities around the Serengeti. It has developed a comprehensive and strategic approach that includes radio programming, school programs, tree planting, and local leadership building. There are plans to soon include family planning and health. Mr. Meshiliek’s work is focused in the Loliondo District, an area of political disturbance and environmental conflict.
