Sarah Ross

Sarah Ross grew up in Southern California. Since she was young, she has cherished yearly camping on West Coast beaches, lakes and mountain streams with her family and friends.

Sarah graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2017 with a BA in Cultural Anthropology. While at UCLA her undergraduate research focused on the social development of orangutans in captivity. That in-depth research piqued her interest in deforestation, animal habitat loss and other environmental issues.

After graduation, Sarah found employment at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, California. She had the privilege of educating students on the Holocaust, human rights and diversity. By working at NWNL, Sarah hopes to learn more about watersheds and the fresh water issues we are facing today. She is dedicated to NWNL’s mission and honored to work for an organization that continues to raise awareness.
