Lydia is a passionate advocate, avid adventurist, and photographer based in South Florida. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of South Florida, where she graduated with honors, a minor in Public Health, and extensive research experience.
Lydia’s professional journey began with the University of South Florida Library’s Special Collections as a researcher and assistant archivist. Currently, she is a legal assistant with the hope of one day attending law school. Her goals range from spreading environmental awareness to supporting and advocating for environmental and social change.
Lydia’s love for nature stems back to growing up in the North and spending her time in the great outdoors. She has spent many summers swimming in the river that flows through her hometown. She is humbled and excited to begin work with NWNL to support its mission of spreading awareness of the importance of freshwater resources.
