Pamela Cunningham


After an initial stint in finance, Pamela moved to publishing. She spent three years in editorial at House Beautiful, followed by 8 years at Newsweek in corporate contributions, special events, public relations and editing. She then founded Jones & Owens, which marketed Tissot Watch Company, Marriott properties, Domecq Wines, Pony Sneakers and Newsweek. In NYC Pamela served on the NY Philharmonic Council and Metropolitan Museum of Art Junior Committee. In Connecticut she was on the board for Darien Arts Council for 3 years and Shakespeare on the Sound for 6 years, during 2 of which she was President. Continuing in the nonprofit arena, Pamela was on the board of World Ocean School for 8 years, and Board Chair for the last 3 years. Pamela lives with her husband Tod, a trustee of The Connecticut River Museum, in Essex CT and St. Croix, USVI.
